Using Pay Per Click Advertising to Promote Poker Affiliate Programs
Written by Jonathan Holloway

Update:  Be careful trying to fool google!  I still don't know anyone who has had any long term success with adwords for gambling content.  They all end up getting banned.  Try at own risk!  It is better to use a 2nd tier PPC site and bid on cheap positions and have multiple landing pages.

If you are reading this article then I know you are wondering how these jokers are getting their poker ads approved for the major search engines. There are two ways that I know of. The first way is the easiest. It involves running your ads until Google realizes that they are gambling related and pulls them. The second is a little more sneaky.

The second method involves making a web site that has no links to gambling sites. Instead of links you can use bonus codes. This will allow you to get in Adwords and get the amount of traffic you desire. However, I have heard stories of people getting their ads pulled for doing this as well. How can you be sure your ads stay running?

Make your web site so that the only way people can receive links or bonus code for gambling sites is to fill in a form and submit it. By doing this they subscribe to your mailing list and receive your offers. This is smart because you are gaining the ability to bring them back to your web site for free. The first time you had to pay, but once they subscribe to your list you can e-mail them with new offers for new sites and it wont cost you anything!

Be sure to run your ads for highly relevant keywords only. Someone searching for poker may not be interested in bonus offers for casinos and vice versa. Also try to avoid paying too much per click. You do not necessarily need to be in the number one spot. Especially when the number two or three spot is twice as cheap!
